Our Website and Muditam App are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years of age.

The Grievance Officer shall acknowledge the complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of receipt, in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

10. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the rules and regulations made thereunder.

11. MUDITAM APP

In addition to our Website, Muditam Ayurveda Private Limited operates the Muditam mobile application ("Muditam App"), including the Android application with package name com.madhurmuditam.muditam and its corresponding application on Apple platforms.

The Muditam App allows users to create and manage an account, complete health and lifestyle assessments, receive personalised wellness plans and product recommendations, track fitness and wellness progress, upload health-related reports and glucose readings, communicate through AI-assisted and support features, browse and purchase products, manage orders, and receive reminders and relevant updates.

Information We May Collect Through the App

Depending on the features you choose, we may collect or process:

  • Personal Information: Your name, phone number, email address, age, gender, profile photograph, PIN code, and billing or shipping address.
  • Account and Order Information: Account, product, order, payment-status, delivery, cancellation, refund, and shipment-tracking information.
  • Health and Wellness Information: Health quiz responses, lifestyle information, health goals, medical history, uploaded laboratory reports, glucose readings, weight, sleep, hydration, stress, workout, nutrition, and related progress information.
  • Activity Information: Step and activity information obtained from device motion sensors or Health Connect after receiving your permission.
  • Images and Documents: Images, reports, documents, profile photographs, glucose meter photographs, chat attachments, and voice notes selected or created by you.
  • Messages and Support Information: Messages and information submitted when using Muditam AI, customer support, or communication with authorised health experts.
  • Device and Technical Information: IP address, device type, operating system, app version, notification token, network information, crash reports, diagnostics, and security logs.
  • Location Information: Location information only when you use a location-related feature and grant the required device permission.
  • Notification Information: Push-notification preferences and related device-notification information.

How We Use App Information

We may use information collected or processed through the Muditam App to:

  • Authenticate users and manage accounts;
  • Provide personalised health assessments, wellness plans, fitness tracking, diet guidance, reminders, and product recommendations;
  • Process uploaded reports and glucose readings;
  • Display daily activity and progress toward fitness goals;
  • Provide AI-assisted features, customer support, and communication with authorised health experts;
  • Process purchases, payments, deliveries, shipment tracking, cancellations, and refunds;
  • Send transactional notifications, reminders, order updates, and communications authorised by the user;
  • Maintain security, diagnose errors, prevent fraud, improve performance, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Payments are processed by authorised payment and commerce providers. Muditam does not store complete credit card, debit card, UPI PIN, or banking credentials.

Health Connect and Activity Data

On supported Android devices, the Muditam App may request permission to read aggregated daily step counts from Health Connect. The App requests read access only to the Steps data type.

Health Connect and device activity data are used to display daily activity, compare progress with fitness goals, and synchronise step totals with the user's Muditam fitness record.

Health Connect and device activity information is not sold or used for targeted advertising.

Users may decline or revoke Health Connect and activity permissions through their device settings and may manually enter their steps where this feature is available.

AI-Assisted Features

When users access Muditam AI, report analysis, image-reading, or similar features, the submitted information may be processed by contracted technology providers to generate the requested response or analysis.

AI-generated information is for educational and wellness-support purposes. It does not constitute medical diagnosis or replace advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.

Sharing and Service Providers

We may share information with trusted service providers only where necessary to operate the Muditam App, including:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers;
  • Payment and commerce providers;
  • Shipping and logistics partners;
  • Contracted AI or document-processing providers;
  • Analytics and diagnostics providers;
  • Communication providers;
  • Authorised care or support personnel.

We do not sell personal information or health information.

Security, Retention, and User Choices

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services or meet legal, regulatory, security, accounting, and legitimate business requirements.
